The Bosch GWS 20‑230 is a powerful, corded heavy‑duty angle grinder designed for large cutting and grinding jobs. With a robust 2,000 W motor, it delivers excellent material removal performance, ideal for working with metal, stone, concrete, and masonry. 

Cutting or grinding discs up to 230 mm (9″) diameter can be used, and it accepts the common M14 spindle thread for disc fitment. The no‑load speed is approximately 6,500 rpm, providing both power and speed for demanding tasks. Despite its strength, the grinder remains manageable at around 5.3‑5.5 kg (without disc), allowing for both cutting and rough grinding without excessive operator fatigue. 

Safety features include the PROtection switch (an automatic shut‑off mechanism in unsafe conditions) and the option for a dust‑control guard / backing pad for certain applications. Discs are consumables and will need replacing: both cutting / grinding discs for metal/stone, and optional dust‑control accessories enhance safe use.
